Exploring Barcelona’s skyline from Bar Terraces
Barcelona is beautiful from any angle, but after visiting too many times I was looking to do something different on my last visit. My friend Ali suggested to enjoy the city skyline from rooftops and terrace bars around town.
We didn’t waste a minute, I couldn’t think of anything better than enjoying Barcelona breathtakingly views over a Cava or Mojito!
Bar terraces I am happy to recommend
As a result we started with lunch in our first stop Terraza Martinez in Montjuic. We had our delicious lunch overlooking Barcelona famous port. To enjoy these views you must reserve a table at the ‘balcones’ (balcony tables) please don’t forget because they are very popular! ‘Arroces’ (rice dishes) are not to be missed.
De Luxe Hotels Terraces
We continue our quest for an after meal coffee at the Ohla Barcelona Hotel terrace in via Laitana. From this rooftop you will have the perfect view to admire Barcelona cathedral and roof tops of the old Gothic quarter.
Few minutes later we were heading up to Paseo de Gracia where we had a ‘digestivo’ drink at the terrace of Condes de Barcelona Hotel . This was no doubt the best Pacharan on ice! This bar has exceptional views including one of Gaudi most famous buildings, Casa Milá or ‘La Pedrera’ as it is most popularly known.
Opposite is the Roca Bar, in the equally beautiful five star hotel, Omm Hotel We were kindly invited to a glass of Cava by my friend and sales manager, many thanks Marta!
Finally our last visit was to the rooftop on The One Hotel . This was probably the best rooftop on the day. It has 360 degrees views of Barcelona skyline including its most famous landmark, the ‘Sagrada Familia’. If you enjoy landscape photography as much as I do this it will be your perfect terrace!
